Beyond thankful for Landis Transmission. We had a flat tire, called the shop, they were more than willing to help and squeezed us in the same day. When I arrived with my kids they were very welcoming and friendly throughout the entire process. They were able to find a screw in the flat tire and patch up the hole in no time. From the experience we had, I would highly recommend their services. Thank you!

Rating: βββββ (Zero stars if I could) I brought my vehicle in on a Monday because my transmission was failing for the second time in less than a year. The shop insisted that switching the transmission would solve the high RPM issues and the car jerking/stuttering when shifting, but it has not solved the issue! While they said they would coordinate with Nissan regarding the warranty, the experience was a total nightmare. Terrible Communication: I never received proactive updates. I had to call every single day just to find out what was happening. Broken Promises: They guaranteed the car would be ready by Friday. Instead, they went radio silent and made me wait until the following Tuesday. Theft & Missing Documents: Most concerningly, the original transmission paperwork from my first visitβwhich I kept on my driver-side visorβis now missing. It seems they went through my vehicle and removed my records. Unauthorized Work & False Claims: Despite explicit instructions not to perform certain services, they did them anyway. They claimed my battery was leaking, but I know for a fact it wasn't. While the connectors were corroded, I had the car at Valvoline and mavis just two weeks prior fo

As a single woman who gets talked down to by most mechanics, I fell in love with this place after the first call. Everyone was informative, answered all my questions and had a new transmission installed in less than a week. I will be recommending Landis Transmission to anyone who asks.

My experience with this shop was disappointing and felt misleading. I called ahead and clearly explained the issue with my truck in detail. Instead of providing a realistic idea of potential costs, I was told to bring it in for an inspection. Once I asked a few more questions over the phone, the representative quickly suggested that the truck βmost likely needs a new transmission,β which raised concerns that they already had a good idea of the issue but wanted me to bring it in before disclosing the likely cost so they can charge a diagnostic fee. Had I not asked those questions, I would have paid for towing to and from the shop, plus a diagnostic fee, only to be told I needed a full transmission replacement exceeding $5,000. More than the truck is worth. In my opinion, a more transparent approach over the phone would have saved everyone time and money. I recommend that anyone considering this shop ask for upfront estimates and clarity on potential costs before bringing their vehicle in. Any mechanic that does business like this should not be trusted in ANY manner whatsoever.
